Sorrento inlay and Stone Balancing. From Coast to Arizona the balancer surprise in the name of world peace
stone-balancing-coastal-sorrentinaUn weekend dedicated to the art of the Stone Balancing. As of this morning and until tomorrow the Sorrento Coast will see numerous artists, Italian and foreign, of BAWI Italy ((Balancing Art World Intermeeting), as part of the fourth edition of the coastal event “In the Balance Crab.” The event this year is further enriched thanks to the twinning with “Back West” – Celebration of Stone balancing that will be held simultaneously in Flagstaff in Arizona, with the aim of promoting peace in the world, a fine balance, but possible.
Saturday, September 24, at 10 am, will inaugurate the avant-garde artistic event along the Blue Mile. The first day will be marked by numerous activities: Live shots of semi-submerged works created by the Diving “Punta Campanella” and works on canvas street-art signed by Dennis Edelmann. At 19:30 hours instead, it is scheduled the show “Fire Dreams” Street of Fire Show, which will take place along the fishing quay in Marina della Lobra, while at 21, will end with a welcome dinner with the artists accompanied by a musical show at the restaurant Crab bar.
The event is a meeting between the arts, in fact, together with the balancer, artists Sorrento inlaid, Toni Wolf and Pasquale Famiani exhibit, always at the Crab, their works in an exhibition entitled “Moments of Art Balance” enriched by shots of previous editions by the Photo Club “Siren Land”.
Sunday, September 25, at 10 am, the artistic happening will move to Mitigliano falls in collaboration with the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, while in the afternoon you will return to the Stone Balancing Blue Mile. At sunset, however, the artists will move to Sammontano escorted from the photo Club “Land of the Sirens” which will immortalize the works and their authors with a special photo shoot dedicated.
