The “Donne del Vino” National Association organizes in Campania the first Rosemary Festival of Festivals, “Sorrento Rosé”, hosted on 12 to 14 May in the Sorrento Peninsula with a special masterpieces, chef Lidia Bastianich.

The enogastronomic event features rosy wines in the restaurants, pizzerias and wine bars of the center of Sorrento, while the heart of the event will be Villa Fiorentino, the Foundation of the Sorrento Foundation, promoter of cultural initiatives through the enhancement of the environmental and historical-artistic heritage local.

Round tables, chat with producers, a tasting board with over 100 labels from all over Italy and abroad, opening up and the “street pizza” by Antonino Esposito, the pizzaiolo master made known thanks to his extras on the Rai television network. In short, an intense and rich program is expected to tell all the faces of this versatile, social and positive wine.

A great opening of the festival on May 12th at 8 pm with an event dedicated to the press and specialists in the sector: Pizza and rosé from Acqu ‘e sale, chef pizzaiolo Antonino Esposito will propose different types of pizza while the two restaurateurs of Campania and Donne del Lorella di Porzio wine (Umberto restaurant, Naples and regional delegate DDV Campania) and Franca Di Mauro (restaurant Il Cellaio di Don Gennaro, Vico Equense) will cook their typical dishes.

Central and strategic will be the round table “Pizza and Rosé Wine”, scheduled at the Grand Hotel Europa Palace (Saturday, May 13, 10:00 am), a time of confrontation and reflection on the future of rosé and pizza , On its commercial potential in Italy and abroad, on how to communicate this alliance effectively and innovatively.

In the foreground, the AIS Campania intervention, which – at the turn of the seventh edition – will promote the National Day of Wine and Oil Culture in Sorrento at the Grand Hotel Europa Palace in Sorrento Rosè.
